The show-competition of the most recent stagings of the Latvian contemporary plays is organized every two years in November in Riga. Theaters and directors apply to Show their productions, a specially created commission evaluates and selects the performances, which will participate in thefestival. At the same time the competition of the most recently written Latvian plays is taking place. In the framework of the festival public readings of the most recently written Latvian plays, discussions about the performances and conferences are organized.
