The main objective of the festival is to popularize the ballet by bringing together interesting classical and modern ballet ensembles, dancers and choreographers from all the countries of the Baltic Sea. The slogan of the festival is "From Classical to Avant-garde". The festival is organized every spring in Riga and during it there are thematic exhibitions, master classes as well as gatherings of the old masters of ballet take place.
