| Festival Description | Homo Novus is the most significant theater festival in Latvia that has taken place every two years since 1995 in September or October. The aim of Homo Novus is naot only to provoke the theaters of Latvia and the spectators and stimulate them to move forward but also to present Latvian theater in the international arena and to encourage long-term international cooperation. Homo Novus is a non-commercial festival that brings together innovative and diverse theater and dance performances from other countries for reasonable prices. The festival offers foreign guests have the opportunity to see the most distinguished performances of the Latvian theaters. |
