| Festival Description | The festival opened in 2001 with the objective of presenting Korean traditional music and promoting exchanges between various traditional forms of music from around the world. The organisers aim to break down language and cultural barriers and harmonise East and West, past and present through the making of harmonious melodies. Other highlights of the event include a Fringe festival, music camps for teenagers and an educational programme for children, culminating in the presentation of their own opera. There are also sound and musical instrument exhibitions and a food festival. |
