| Festival Description | The inaugural edition of Slow Food Nation took place in 2008 as a celebration of sustainable and organic foods. Foods that are grown with care, harvested with care, prepared with care, and eaten slowly to nourish the body and the soul! Slow Food Rocks is a two day music festival in conjunction with the Slow Nation program presenting a line-up of stellar musicians that round out the celebration of community, sharing, and health, and above all fun! The festival strives for a Zero Waste Event—through recycling, composting and clean energy providers to make the events as clean as possible and with the assistance of agencies to offset the carbon footprint. |
