| Festival Description | Waterford Fringe Festival is a multi-disciplinary Arts Festival that coincides with The Waterford International Festival Of Light Opera. A varied programme is presented including: visual art, featuring an exciting mix of international and local artists; drama, including Irish Premiers of overseas work; music, comedy and special fun and family events we have something in our programme to suit all tastes. Since its inception the Festival has strived to become a platform for the best of Irish and international art and is now regarded as not only one of Irelands key cultural events but as a platform for artistic development in Waterford. It has created a greater awareness and demand for the performing and visual arts in the South East. |
