The inaugural Cashel Arts Fest, “CAF”, made its debut in November 2003. This exciting new venture was undertaken by interested parties involved in the Arts of Cashel. Since then the Cashel Arts Fest has grown and developed into a community festival that takes place during most of November.

The festival sees the involvement of people with special needs the young and the elderly as a primary objective. The focus of the festival is to provide a series of platforms and opportunities for all sections of the community to engage with a variety of Art Disciplines in a meaningful and enjoyable way. The festival culminates with a number of formal and informal performing opportunities in which the results of this creative process will be showcased. The ultimate aim of the festival is to provide a platform for as many people as possible in our community to be creative. The festival sees the involvement of young people, people with special needs and the elderly as a primary objective.
