|Festival Contact Information|
New Life is a contemporary arts festival that spans all genres to challenge the concept of “Hospitality”. The annual festival is powered by the participants of Wooloo’s user community. The festival takes place as a social experiment as part of the UN Climate Change Conference. Each year the climate change conference takes place in a different city — and thereby designates the location the site specific New Life festival.
The large-scale climate change meeting draws environmental activists from around the globe and New Life organizes locals to open their homes to the visiting activists during the conference and festival. The exhibition platform of gathered individuals adds to the cultural platform of the festival. Artists, curators and researchers from all fields are invited to submit proposals. Wooloo is an online network of artists. The Australian Aboriginal word “Wooloo” means “where waters meet”.
