Festival Description

This is an annual bilingual festival celebrating local culture or tradition. It celebrates the ancient Irish tradition of the Brídeog which marks the festival of St. Bridget on the 1st of February. It is also a celebration of the coming of Spring, a vibrant tradition in the area. The events include lectures on local culture and history as well as music and dance.
