Festival Description	The Dorset Playhouse opened its doors in 1929 after the structure was conceived of and built by it’s community - including the salvaged wood of three local barn structures. Since the 1930’s, The Dorset Playhouse has acted as home base of the Caravan Theatre, The Dorset Players, and the Dorset Theatre Festival since the 1975. The Dorset Theatre Festival's new Artistic Director, Dina Janis brings to the stage a roster of works that include theatre classics and new play premieres.
