The most famous landmarks of Berlin, including boulevards, squares, towers, historical and modern buildings glow in a new kind of lighting. The spectacular illuminations are enhanced by a countless number of artistic and cultural activities, ranging from special events to sponsor parties and of course the Grand Opening Ceremony at the Fernsehturm with its laser-show, Kick-Off-Light Marathon and public fireworks. Under the management of festival organizer Birgit Zander, the FESTIVAL of LIGHTS features wonderful moments like Open Night, Midnight Weddings and much more… with special events around light, architecture, art and culture.
