| Festival Description | On the second weekend in January when Sixmilebridge again hosts some of the best folk, roots, bluegrass and traditional music around, plus a little more in an intense programme of over 30 scheduled events. The three-day programme is crammed with sessions and gigs in seven different venues, catering for all tastes. There is a classical guitar recital, a singers’ session hosted by Ennis Singers’ Club, pickers’ sessions, bluegrass gigs from the inimitable festival regulars Prison Love among others, a Jazz concert “Hot Club” style, and traditional sessions galore, with the cream of talent from Clare and beyond. |
