| Festival Description | Founded in 1242, the ancient hospital of Notre-Dame à la Rose provided eight centuries of medicine for the inhabitants—today it is one of the most beautiful museums of old medicine in Europe. Once each year the museum opens its doors to the public with a music and theatre festival. The program offers a blend of old music, theatre and cuisine. Each artistic area of the festival is managed separately, but comes together as a whole by blending the rich traditions of each field for an enjoyable feast of the senses. |
