| Festival Description | The mission of the Java Jazz Festival is to build bridges and promote oneness through three days of great jazz in Jakarta. Young artists from various countries and cultures are presented to an international audience. The meeting and mixing of people from different cultures forges new bonds of friendship, and fostering mutual understanding and harmony. This international audience is drawn back to the festival each year like a magnet. The organizers utilizes resources and ideas from the region to build a new framework for the cultivation of a regional music industry that contributes to international goodwill. |
