The annual festival of street theatre introduces a great variety of puppet-shows, real life-theatre plays, interactive poet performances with various artistic devices within children's theatre trends. The festival presents 450-500 performances annually at three locations: the Kolibri Theatre, the Fészek (Room-Theatre) and the Pince (The Cellar), complement each other—all have a specific image and offer independent programmes to their audience. Kolibri Theatre is the first Children's Theatre in Budapest, where all children are able to find the performance which is adequate to their interest, intellect and spiritual development. The main characteristics of the plentiful programme are: variety of genre and susceptibility of the new. The permanent team of 20 actors and guest performers attract 50,000 spectators a year. The last ten years has developed a following among teachers and parents, who regularly and gladly attend the performances with their students and children.
