The history of this international historical music festival, the Budapest Early Music Days, began at the end of the 1980’s, when a talented new generation of artists appeared in Hungary who superbly recreated original musical styles. The festival was born on the initiative of these very musicians and gradually grew into a concert series with an international reputation.
