Diverse cultural programmes take place at the Budapest Spring Festival. Symphonic orchestra concerts, drama and musical programmes at the Gyôr National Theatre, performances of the world famous Gyôr Ballet, guest performances by contemporary Hungarian and foreign dance ensembles, eminent figures of Hungarian and international jazz, evening performances featuring favorite composers, and special exhibitions are among the rich selection offered by the Gyôr Spring Festival. Events built on folk customs that celebrate Easter and the change of seasons, as well as puppet shows beckon everyone, children and adults alike, to join in carefree games. The festival takes place in cultural centres located in Gyôr's historic old town.
