| Festival Description | The biggest traditional jazz event of the region since its foundation in 1992: at the end of March, centred in Kecskemét, stretches out to 10-15 cities and functions as an umbrella event. It is the Festival of specialties—according to the philosophy of the Festival, organizers invite ragtime and traditional jazz bands and soloists who are among the very best and are unique in some regards—in style, instrumentation, repertoire… And, of course, they are all “Bohém” (i.e. bohemian - meaning happy, carefree, funny etc.). |
