The non-competitive festival takes place in Taormina which is considered the capital of Sicilian Tourism — rich in charm and history and with a big heart for hospitality towards all the visitors. The region is graced by warm weather and a relaxed atmosphere. Taormina is defined as ‘THE PEARL OF THE SEA JONIO” featuring monuments and the Teatro Antico/Ancient Theatre whose backdrop is the famous volcano Mt. Etna, the most active Volcano in Europe. Groups that can take part include Brass and Wind Bands, Brass Bands with Majorettes, Marching Bands, Guggen Bands, Pipes and Drums, Drum Bands, Historical Groups, Folk Groups, and Dixieland Groups.
