Bad Hersfelder Festival, taking place in the 1000 years old awe-inspiring ruins, belongs to the largest Summer festivals in German-speaking milieu. Its audience is international. Over 10 years the festival director Dr. Peter Lotschak has been creating the artistic profile of the festival, which annually draws more than 100,000 visitors under the spell of the performances of world dramatic literature.
